Day 77 - Okeechobee, Florida

Nothing exciting today.   We drove four hours to Lake Okeechobee.   Tomorrow we will go North another four hours.   We are not even unhooked as we hope to leave fairly early tomorrow.   There is a pool and hot tub.  We are about to go and check it out.

Nice parking spot.

Right across from the pool.

The pool was heated, about 88 degrees, very nice.

Nice for reading.....

OR a swim and a sit in the hot tub.

Then we discovered a little spot adjoining the pool called the Shanty.

It looked like maybe a good place to hang out for a bit.

Turns out that it was.   The bartender, Janie, was married in Tahoe in 1981.   And she was able to find a Heineken for me and a Rum and Coke for Martha.

After all, it was actually about 4:30pm.

Outside the window of the bar a sweet little bird.   So you could say we were studying the surrounding nature.

Back to the trailer for dinner.   Thanks for having a drink with us.

  1. We have stayed in some very interesting parks and some nice ones. This is definitely one of the nicest so far. It is always interesting to see where we land.
