Day 62 - Jacksonville / Wilmington, North Carolina

We had our first Foggy Drive this morning.   We left the RV Park just before 9am to drive to Jacksonville.  For the first hour of the drive it was really foggy.   Scary to drive in the fog especially with 14,000 pounds of trailer following you.  So I had to take it a bit slower than planned.  Once we got closer to Jacksonville it cleared up.  I thought it may get worse as it is closer to the Atlantic, but it didn't.  We met with two of our Nieces and part of their families at Applebee's at 11.  It is great to see them and they all look well in spite of escaping California years ago.  There is life on the East Coast.  Hummm.  Good life too.

We are set up now in Wilmington and tomorrow we will visit my brother-in-law and then friends of Martha's that live on Carolina Beach.  Tomorrow is also the birthday of our oldest son, John, pictured here with his Tahoe made friend in 1987.   Now in 2016 he will be 42.   Shocking as I am only 22 myself.   Maybe 23.

Hi John!   Happy Birthday from Mom and Dad.

Thanks for Joining us on our BLOG today.
