Five hour drive to Rapid City, SD. Several hundred Harleys that left Sturgis passing by going the opposite direction. Got all set up by 2pm and now we are just kicking back at the RV park the rest of the day today. Tomorrow we'll either go to Mount Rushmore or Sturgis.
Rushmore or sturgis?? I thought you were doing both?? Finally got caught up with the blog! I was about 3 days behind. Looks like I only missed a LOT of driving and some pretty fiery chili. And maybe an ice cream cone or two. 😄
ReplyDeleteour mail forwarding service "Americas Mailbox", is right next door to Rapid City in Box Elder, SD...not much there, but home to Ellsworth AFB...the mail service also has a small RV Park we can stay at when back in the area...like Lori, I missed a few days also when the Shoemaker's were here...be safe...:-)
